On Wednesday, 03/11/2021, an online event was held for the presentation of the LIFE GRECABAT Educational kit.

LIFE GRECABAT organizes on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 18:00 pm, an online event for the presentation of an Educational kit addressed to elementary and high school students which was created within the framework of the project.
Action E1 - Educational kit of LIFE GRECABAT

The LIFE GRECABAT Educational kit contains educational activities for elementary and secondary school children. It is thematically adapted to the objectives and actions of the LIFE17 NAT / GR / 000522 - LIFE GRECABAT project ("Greek Caves and Chiropractors: Management Actions and Behavior Change") - a deliverable of the project. The contents of the kit are related to the habitat of land caves, the relations of bats and cave invertebrates to their environment, the effect of human activities but also the need to maintain the functionality of natural ecosystems.

Ο σπηλαιόβιος Λαιμόστενος 𝙇𝙖𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙪𝙨 𝙫𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙖𝙞 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞, 𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟖, ένα ενδημικό είδος της καταβόθρας Αλιάρτου που μελετάται στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος LIFE GRECABAT, επιλέχθηκε ως Σπηλαιόβιο ζώο της Χρονιάς 2021 για την Ελλάδα.
2021: International Year of Caves and Karst
Τhe forthcoming year has been declared by the International Union of Speleology (UIS) as the International Year of Caves and Karst.
Action Ε1 - Notice boards

The notice boards of LIFE GRECABAT project are designed to give the basic information about the project, the partners, the funding, the species the habitat and the institutional status of the location of each project. Finally, they include basic safety warnings.

Action E1 - Interpretation Signs

The interpretation signs will be placed at the respective locations of the LIFE GRECABAT protection and restoration interventions.  They are designed to inform visitors about the importance of the sites for the species and habitat, the feasibility of the interventions and the rules of good behaviour.
