F1: Project operation and management

The action involves the coordination and monitoring of each action’s implementation by the responsible beneficiaries. It will guarantee the communication, interaction and coordination among all beneficiaries, clearly defining roles and responsibilities amongst them and ensuring an appropriate and smooth coordination.

F2: Quality control and risk management

Action’s objective is to ensure the quality and risk management of the project. Therefore, a contingency plan is necessary to be realized in order to solve implementation problems, managing project risks, ensuring the quality of project deliverables and reporting.

F3: Training of project beneficiaries

One of project’s main objectives is to change stakeholders’ behavior related to pressures and threats posed to the selected species and the cave habitat.

Based on the above, all participants involved in project implementation are its potential ambassadors to local communities and stakeholders. Therefore, they should be able to respond effectively to all possible questions that will be raised against them.

The above general requirement presupposes reciprocal training between project beneficiaries and their staff, which should ensure a minimum level of knowledge for all project aspects.

Finally, the above action will help to bind the project members.

F4: Production of an a “After-LIFE Conservation Plan”

An “After-LIFE Conservation Plan” will be produced in order to set out how the project is planned to be further developed in the years following the end of the project, and how the longer-term management of the targeted species will be assured.
