LIFE GRECABAT participated with the presentation of Panagiotis Georgiakakis [University of Crete - Natural History Museum of Crete] in the seminar organized in the framework of the LIFE UNDER ONE ROOF project, on the topic: "Bats-Challenges and Opportunities", on October 29, 2025, in Bulgaria.
In April 2024, the project for the protection of the habitat and colonies of bats in the Drainage Tunnels in Panagopoula, Achaia, was completed, which was implemented in the framework of Action C1 “Protection, restoration and management of important roosting sites for bats" of our LIFE GRECABAT Project.
It is with great pleasure that we announce that in the second half of June 2024 the project for the protection of the habitat and colonies of bats in the cave of Za in Naxos was completed, which was implemented in the framework of Action C1 " Protection, restoration and management of important roosting sites for bats" of our LIFE GRECABAT Project.
LIFE GRECABAT conducts iterative social-environmental research on the attitudes of stakeholders and citizens towards bats, caves, cave organisms and other underground roosting sites.
