On the occasion of the beginning of the school year, LIFE GRECABAT offers educational activities for primary and secondary education that are part of the project's educational kit and are available in four different languages.

International Bat Night at the house of the keeper of the salt marshes in Angelochori

The Bat Night organized (as part of the "International Bat Night") by the Management Unit of Protected Areas of Central Macedonia / NECCA (https://necca.gov.gr/en/home/) outside “the house of the keeper of the salt marshes” and in the surrounding area of the Aggelochori Lagoon was successfully completed on Monday afternoon, August 22, 2022.

A special event was organized by the scientific team of LIFE GRECABAT at the entrance of Paleomylos sinkhole in Akraifnio, Boeotia on Thursday 30/06/2022 (from 19:30 to 23:00), following the workshop in Akraifnio, the researchers of the project demonstrated the way of working and the equipment (Bat detectors, sampling nets, animal handling) for the recording of bats.

The LIFE GRECABAT’s Action C4 workshop, that was co-organized with the Municipality of Orchomenos and the Management Unit of the National Parks of Parnassos, Oiti and Protected Areas of Eastern Central Greece (of NECCA), was successfully completed at the hospitable premises of the Folklore - Historical Museum of Akraefnio [Thursday 30/06/2022 11:00 - 15:00].
