LIFE GRECABAT Project Participation in the 12th Conference of the Hellenic Ecological Society - HELECOS 2025
The LIFE GRECABAT Project participates in the 12th Conference of the Hellenic Ecological Society - HELECOS 2025 with two posters summarizing results from the project's actions C2: Establishment of an early warning monitoring system for habitat 8310 and important bat colonies, D2: Monitoring the effect of project actions on target species and Habitat 8310, A4: Initial monitoring of stakeholders’ attitude and behaviour, and D3: Monitoring of local stakeholders’ change of attitude and behavior.
In particular, the 1st poster concerns the two years of monitoring of biotic and abiotic parameters in the Cave of the Lakes and the 2nd poster focuses on the investigation of the changes in the attitude and behavior of various social groups as a result of the actions of the LIFE GRECABAT project.
The 12th Conference of the Hellenic Ecological Society aims to explore how ecological systems respond, affect and are affected by environmental pressures. Particular emphasis is placed on anthropogenically caused "challenges", such as habitat loss and fragmentation, biological invasions, forest fires, climate change, pollution, changes that lead to biodiversity loss and cause adverse effects on all scales of organization of ecological entities.
