Iterative Questionnaire – Opinion Survey on Bats and Caves [Action D3]

LIFE GRECABAT conducts iterative social-environmental research on the attitudes of stakeholders and citizens towards bats, caves, cave organisms and other underground roosting sites.

The research concerns the quantitative and qualitative assessment of attitudes and behaviors.

The questionnaire is addressed to five different groups:

Action D1: Updated detailed monitoring plan

The present deliverable constitutes the updated and detailed monitoring plan of the project Life – Nature: “Greek Caves and Bats: Management Actions and Change of Attitude (GRECABAT) - LIFE17 NAT/GR/000522, which was carried out in the framework of the Action D1. The initial "Project monitoring plan" submitted in February 2019 while the "Detailed project monitoring plan" was ready in September 2020.

Action D4. Relative analysis report /August 2021

The purpose of the action is to select and record quality and quantitative performance indicators of the project. These indicators can be used to report the success of LIFE GRECABAT (based on paragraph 3 of Article 3 of the Life Regulation).

Action D1: Detailed monitoring plan

The present deliverable constitutes the updated and detailed monitoring plan of the project Life – Nature: “Greek Caves and Bats: Management Actions and Change of Attitude (GRECABAT) - LIFE17 NAT/GR/000522, which was carried out in the framework of the Action D1. The initial "Project monitoring plan" submitted in February 2019. The object of this deliverable is to ensure that project actions will have a concrete, measurable and with a clear benefit output for the targeted bat species and habitat 8310.

Working meeting and management audit

A highly productive two-day event was held on 20 - 21st of June with  presentations and discussion on the progress of LIFE GRECABAT  and a visit to a cave included. The project team is stronger than ever.
