A three unit data logging prototype was developed by the CommonsLab.gr MAKERSPACE Koin.S.Ep.in collaboration with and on behalf of the Hellenic Institute of Speleological Research (HISR / INSPEE) as part of the LIFE-GRECABAT project. On November 30th, 2019, members of LIFE GRECABAT team and 12 volunteers of the program visited Cyclops’s Polyphimos Cave in Maroneia, Komotini.
All volunteers coming from Komotini, the Department of Geology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the club association "Speleology of Thessaloniki PROTEAS", explored the cave and experienced bat and invertebrate study methods (counting, photography, trapping, etc.).
