The University of Crete- Natural History Museum of Crete celebrates the 30th anniversary of the NATURA 2000 Network

2022 marks the 30th anniversary of the creation of the NATURA 2000 Ecological Network in Europe and the LIFE funding tool, which supports research projects and projects for environmental protection, the promotion of green innovations, sustainable practices and sustainability in the European Union.

The University of Crete- Natural History Museum of Crete, having implemented or collaborated in more than 10 LIFE projects, participates in the celebrations by organizing an information kiosk in the exhibition space at the Natural History Museum of Crete in Heraklion (Periodical Exhibition), Monday, May 23 at 10 p.m. until 5 p.m.

During the event, informational material of the LIFE Bonelli east Med, LIFE IGIC, LIFE GRECABAT, LIFE NewLife4Drylands, LIFE Natura Themis & LIFE Natura 2000 Value Crete projects will be distributed, slides and TV messages, photos and newsletters, as well as news and information for the NATURA 2000 Network, the LIFE financial tool, the natural environment and the environmental legislation, by the partners of NHMC.
